Now is a very exciting time to be a sewist because there are so many inventive and unique indie sewing designers! We're thrilled to announce we've broadened our pattern library by launching PDF sewing patterns.
Never sewn from a digital file before? Never fear, we're here to help. Here's how the process works:

Step one: Find a pattern you love! Browse our selection here, and make sure to check out the filters. You can filter patterns by designer, file type, pattern type, fabric requirements, and more.

Step two: Purchase the pattern. You can check out as you normally would on our website (or even in person in our store) - you won't be charged shipping for digital purchases. Make sure you enter your e-mail address correctly!

Step two-and-a-half: Snag a little discount. Only for July 15-22, anyone who purchases a PDF pattern and apparel fabric in the same order will receive 20% off two yards of apparel fabric. No code needed! The discount will only apply if you add 2 or more yards of fabric to your cart.

Step three: Check your inbox. Within an hour of your purchase, you'll receive a link to download your pattern in your e-mail. Don't delete the message; you'll be able to access your downloads indefinitely through that e-mail.

Step 4: Print your pattern. Digital sewing patterns come in a variety of file types, and each pattern in our catalog specifies what file types are included. If you're using a projector or a print-free pattern, you can skip this step! If you're printing from home, download any files marked "Print-from-home" or A4, print them from your home printer, and assemble. Check out this tutorial for more info. And finally if you'd prefer, you can send your files to a copy shop to have them printed in AO or large format. Generally this costs between $3-$7 per page, but most patterns only have 1-3 pages. If you're local to Utah County, we love Print-Mark. If you're printing lots of patterns at once, take advantage of the bulk discount at PDF Plotting.

Step 5: Get sewing! From here on out you'll use your digital file just like a printed pattern. But with the added bonus of great pattern support: lots of indie designers provide video tutorials and very thorough instructions.
