Made With Harmony: Zina's Henrietta Skirt

Made With Harmony: Zina's Henrietta Skirt

Who doesn’t love a quick, high impact sewing project?  This beautiful Henrietta Skirt in our Riverstone Plaid Linen checks all those boxes and more!

This moody linen is part of our deadstock collection, sourced from a sustainable supplier in the U.S. Zina used 3 yards and reported that there was no shrinkage or bleeding after washing.

Zina chose this fabric/pattern combo, because she was looking to make a lightweight, easy skirt for summer. The Henrietta Skirt pattern from Spaghetti Western Sewing consists of three simple pattern pieces that can be endlessly customized. One of the main draws to this pattern (which is a Harmony team favorite) is that it is a simple, beginner friendly project that can be completed in one day. Despite one’s skill level, the pattern gives maximum impact via simple construction.  Zina made a size M with no modifications.  We love how her skirt turned out!

Other patterns that we recommend for this fabric are the Merchant & Mills Shepherd Skirt and the Closet Core Kalle Shirt & Shirtdress.

You may notice that Zina is also wearing a Sophie Scarf made out of our Cashsilk Light and a Sew House 7 Remy Raglan top. For her top, she used some deadstock crinkle cotton that is sadly out of stock. It would look amazing in any of the following fabrics as well:

Cobalt Stripe Crinkle Cotton

Citron Cotton Seersucker
