Merchant & Mills is known for their classic and timeless patterns, and the Mary White Dress is no exception. Laura knew she wanted a linen dress for summer and has admired the sporty, nautical Mary White for some time.
When it came time to choose a fabric, she landed on our Aloe Linen. It is part of our deadstock collection and sourced from a sustainable supplier in the U.S. She made a size 10 and used 2 ¾ yards of fabric.
The pattern was easy to follow, with clear instructions. The only modification Laura made was to add an inch to the length. Her favorite thing about the project is the collar design and button tab. She is even debating adding vintage rickrack trim around the collar to feature it even more.
