It's our favorite time of year! Happy Yarn Crawl to all Utahan fiber friends! Here you'll find a quick rundown of what Yarn Crawl is, how to participate, and what special treats Harmony has in store for this years' Crawl.
What is Yarn Crawl anyway?
Utah Yarn Crawl is a yearly event organized by Emily Dern of Willow Hill Yarn Company. This year Yarn Crawl is held from July 12-19. Anyone who loves fiber is encouraged to visit participating yarn stores during that week, and folks who visit every store on the list are eligible for amazing prizes.
Anyone aged 18 and up is eligible to participate. At your first yarn store you'll receive a "passport," which will get stamped at each shop you visit. No purchase is required, you just need to be there in person. When all the shops on your passport are stamped, you can leave it at any store of your choosing by July 19 and you'll be entered to potentially win that shop's Grand Prize. Each shop has different prizes, but they're all valued at around $300.

What are Harmony's plans for Yarn Crawl?
This year we are excited to show off a whole new shoppable room; we've ordered a huge amount of new yarns and notions and had to make more space!

Along with our $300 Grand Prize (keep an eye on our instagram to see what it is!), we'll have 10 smaller prizes for anyone aged 18 and up who visits us in store and signs up for our e-mail newsletter.
We will also be holding daily flash sales, in store and online. No discount code needed, sale will automatically apply when you add products to your cart. Here is the schedule:

Finally, our new classroom will be open all week to anyone who wants to sit and relax; knitting encouraged but not required. We'll have comfy chairs and a good strong air conditioner. Please note the classroom is up one flight of stairs.
