We are so excited to launch our mystery Fat Quarter bundle subscriptions! Each month we will curate a new bundle of 10 fat quarters for subscribers. Check out the product here!
If you'd like to learn more about our subscriptions, check out this blog post. But if you'd like to know what you can make with 10 fat quarters, you're already in the right spot!
We love to use fat quarter bundles as a launching pad for larger products - see what in your stash coordinates well with your bundle, or what else catches your eye in store. But if you'd like to make a project with just 10 fat quarters, here are some ideas:
- A Baby Quilt! 10 fat quarters will be plenty for many crib-sized quilt tops. We recommend the Half Dozen Quilt, Alternative Quilt, or a simple 9-patch quilt!
-
A table runner or wall hanging. Small quilt projects are a super fun opportunity to learn new skills or explore your own creative ideas, without investing too much time or money. I like to find old used quilt books online or nearby. (There are always good ones at Pioneer Book!) Pick your favorite squares, sew a few together, arrange them in the shape of your table or wall space, and Bob's your uncle!
- Bunting and garlands! Fat quarters are wonderful for decoration! We have a gorgeous bunting on display at Harmony made from fat quarters, twill tape, and yarn pompoms.

- Bias tape: Bias tape is so handy for apparel sewing, quilting, bag making and decor. One fat quarter can make 4 yards!
- Table linens: I'm imagining a matching set of placemats and coasters! So cute!
-
Ruffles: I recently used fat quarters and quilting scraps to make scrappy ruffles for my Squig Skirt! Check out the pattern here.

- Quilted Outerwear! 10 fat quarters will make the outer layer for the smallest sizes of the Homebody Quilted Jacket, or any size of the Ruby Vest. These are another opportunity to experiment with new quilt block patterns! I'd love to make both of these with simple 9-patch squares.
- Bags! Patchwork details can make a bag so special. We especially love the Patchwork Duffle Mini.
These are just a few ideas of what can be made with our bundles, but let your imagination be your guide! By patchworking these fabrics into yardage you can create just about anything.
