The Swing Top is a loose fitting top with dropped shoulders, a Henley neck and button placket. It also features a shirt tail front and cropped back, gathered into the back yoke. We have paired it with 101 trousers in the picture, but it also pairs beautifully with our Eve trousers or Heroine jeans because of the high waist.
This is a style that used to be available in Merchant and Mills' RTW collection, and they've made it a pattern as so many of you wanted to make your own!
Please note the sizing is different to normal, it is grouped into XS (6), S (8 - 10), M (12 - 14), L (16 -18).
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.

Fabric needed: 1.5 to 2.75 yards depending on view, size, and fabric width. See photos for more details.
Fabric suggestions: Lighter weight woven fabrics, linen and linen blends, cotton chambray, Indian handweaves and block prints, tencel and tencel blends. The more structured the fabric the more sculptural your top will look.
