Sunrise Skort / PDF Pattern

$ 18.00

This is a digital PDF sewing pattern, not a physical product.

The Sunrise Skort Sewing Pattern is a modern take on a traditional skort. It features shorts hidden behind either a full wrap skirt with a tie on the side, or a half skirt that covers only the front of the shorts. The shorts have ease in the crotch and hips to help keep you cool on those hot summer days. If you're unfamiliar with the term ease, you can think of it like the space between your body and the garment.

This skort was designed to be an easy going garment that would quickly become a summer staple. It is practical and easy to wear on an everyday basis.

Fabric suggestions: This pattern is designed for a light weight fabric such as cotton poplin, linen, or silk; however, it's also possible to use a mid weight fabric. If you choose a mid weight fabric, consider design options that will help reduce bulk. For example, you could omit the pockets or sew the half skirt option instead of the full skirt.
