This is a digital PDF sewing pattern, not a physical product.
The Rue Quilt Coat is a PDF PDF sewing pattern inspired by nonnas, vintage house coats, workwear, mischief, and mornings you can’t be bothered to get out of bed so you take the bed with you.
The pattern comes in an adult and kids size range and features a retro-inspired collar, dramatic split side hems, bias tape finished seams, patch pockets, long sleeves for cuffing, and an interior strap for wearing the coat off the body when too hot (adult version only). It has an intentionally relaxed/oversized fit. You can use pre-quilted fabric or quilt your own.
Upon purchase, you will receive a link with digital instructions and print-at-home and A0 and projector PDF pattern files. Use Adobe software and print at 100% scale to get accurate pattern pieces. More detailed pattern information is included in pattern instructions. Seam allowance is included in all pattern pieces.

Sizing: Adult Rue sizing is selected by bust measurement and spans from 32" (81 cm) to 60.5" (154 cm) with generous ease in all views. Spaghetti Western Sewing sizing names deviate from standard sizing. A Spaghetti Western Sewing medium is the average bust measurement of women in the United States. The rest of the sizes are distributed across the size range based on pattern grading increases.
Kid Rue sizing is selected by age and an intentionally oversized fit. Check finished garment measurements against a garment that fits the child to make final sizing decisions.
Fabric needed: Varies depending on size and fabric choices. See photos for more details.
Fabric suggestions: This pattern can be made from non-stretch woven fabrics such as quilting cotton, linen, pre-quilted fabrics, and upcycled blankets. The suggested design is to use bias tape fabric to make the collar. This is accounted for in the yardage and instructions. If you are using a pre-quilted fabric you will need an additional small bit of batting to make the collar.
