The Ruby Vest is the ultimate layering piece and is completely reversible. Multiple customization options allow you to truly make the vest of your dreams. I love quilting my Ruby Vests and have included instructions to do so, but it is optional.

Sizing: 0 - 34, which correlate to 31"-61" Bust, 24"-54" Waist and 34"-65" Hip. See full body measurement and fabric requirement charts in photos.
Fabric needed: 5/8 to 1 1/2 yards each of both lining and exterior fabrics, depending on size and fabric width. See photos for more details.
Fabric suggestions: For this pattern, you can use anything from quilting cotton to flannel, sherpa, pre-quilted fabric, and more. Our favorites are generally cottons or linens, between 3-7 oz per square yard. We strongly discourage making your bias binding from fabrics on the heavier side of that range, as it can make the construction quite tricky. Knit fabrics with a lot of stretch are not recommended.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Syd was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah where she always had some sort of art or craft up my sleeve. After high school (where she spent the majority of my time painting), she moved away to Portland, Oregon and has lived most of her adult life across the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children.
