Original Tapioca Trousers / PDF Pattern

$ 18.00

This is a digital PDF sewing pattern, not a physical product.

The Tapioca Trousers are a high waisted and pleated trouser with a relaxed fit. They are designed to be comfortable around the waist and have generous ease throughout the hips and crotch. If you're unfamiliar with the term ease, you can think of it like the space between your body and the garment.

When designing them, the guiding words were dramatic, elegant, and wearable. I wanted something that was easy to wear and simple to style, while still bringing the drama in an effortlessly cool fashion.

This BEGINNER FRIENDLY sewing pattern is designed to help beginner sewists learn skills to become an intermediate sewist. You will learn how to sew a zipper fly, how to sew darts, how to sew a French seam, and how to stitch in the ditch.

The Tapioca Trousers pattern is also available in an elastic-waist version.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Hi, I’m Jess! My middle name is Louise, hence “Jessi Lou’s Closet” 🤭 I’m a sewist, pattern designer, and creative bestie who loves making clothes, talking about style, and sharing the behind the scenes of building a handmade life.

What started as a love for sewing turned into designing size inclusive sewing patterns, showing up online, and creating a business around the things I care about most. These days, this little corner of the internet is where I share sewing patterns, outfit inspo, creative projects, and the real life journey of figuring it all out as I go.

If you’re a fashion girlie who loves making things by hand, you’re in the right place and I’m so thankful you’re here!
