The Madeline Sweatshirt is a slightly oversized, and cropped, but classic sweatshirt that you won’t be able to resist. It features a slightly dropped shoulder, wide hem band, and wrist cuffs. Throw it on over a swimsuit, our MADE-line TEE, or dress it up over a button-up. Either way, you will feel cozy and comfortable in this essential basic.

Includes: Detailed, step by step illustrated instructions; printable pattern; and full video tutorial.

Sizing: 5 inclusive sizes: bust 32”(81cm)-60”(150cm). See full body measurement and fabric requirement charts in photos.

Fabric needed: 1.5 to 3 yards of main fabric depending on view, size, and fabric width. See photos for more details. 

Fabric suggestions: Light-heavy weight knit fabrics with medium recovery (fabric bounces back after stretching due to spandex) such as French Terry, Ponte, Rib, Jersey, Fleece, Modal, Waffle, etc. This pattern is great with most knits and stretch percentages. For a boxier fit avoid fabric with elastain or spandex as it tends to cling to the skin. For beginners it is advised to skip modal jerseys, as they tend to curl. This pattern works best with knits that have a 50% stretch percentage. However, you could pick a fabric with less or more. If you choose a fabric with less than 50% stretch percentage, you will need to pick one with at least 50% stretch for your neck and wristband.

We ask that a pattern be purchased for each garment sold and that the cost of the pattern be built into your pricing.
