The Felix Top is a PDF sewing pattern inspired by lazy poolside days in Palm Springs, bowling, an amaro spritz with an orange spiral, pimento olives, and uncles. The top has an oversized boxy cut featuring a collar, V-neck partial placket, and elongated inset short sleeves. The maker can choose to add a chest pocket and sleeve cuffs for a more traditional polo look. The sewing difficulty level is suitable for adventurous beginners and beyond.
Upon purchase, you will receive a link with digital instructions and print-at-home and A0 and projector PDF pattern files. Use Adobe software and print at 100% scale to get accurate pattern pieces. More detailed pattern information is included in pattern instructions. Seam allowance is included in all pattern pieces.

Sizing: Felix sizing is selected by bust measurement and spans from 32" (81 cm) to 60.5" (154 cm) with generous ease in all views. Spaghetti Western Sewing sizing names deviate from standard sizing. A Spaghetti Western Sewing medium is the average bust measurement of women in the United States. The rest of the sizes are distributed across the size range based on pattern grading increases.
Fabric needed: 1.25 to 2.25 yards of main fabric depending on size and fabric width. See photos for more details.
Fabric suggestions: This top is designed for light-midweight woven fabrics. It has a professional and chic look in crisp fabrics such as cotton poplin, voiles, lawns, batiste. The top has a more relaxed, weekend feel when sewn in fabrics with softer drapes such as linen, double gauze and washed cottons. The top is purposefully designed to allow the maker the ability to color or fabric block the collar and plackets.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Spaghetti Western Sewing is a one woman show run by Sadie Egan, a self taught sewist and pattern designer. Sadie is an "and" not an "or" type of person endlessly inspiried by the wisdom and self expression of the very young and the very old.
She has dabbled in ceramics, water color, graphic design, collage, photography, natural dyeing, sewing, crocheting and most recently creating sewing patterns. She lives with her two small children, dog, husband and giant passion fruit vine in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Spaghetti Western Patterns are inspired by vintage styles re-interpreted into unfussy comfortable garments that are fun to sew and more fun to wear.
