Six Squared is a beginner quilt pattern created by Jamie Getz and is the seventh pattern in the Getz Made HRT Series.
In January of 2026 I cleaned my sewing room and immediately got energized to create quilts for two dear friends who were both expecting their first babies. I wanted a quilt that could use fat quarters and featured my favorite shapes, but in a new way. I like to think that Six Squared is the sibling quilt of Half Dozen because it is the inverse of this quilt pattern.
This pattern also includes step-by-step video instructions which can be really helpful if HRTs make you nervous. (Don't worry, you can do it! I promise they don't need to be scary!)

Finished Size: CRIB (48" x 48"), SMALL THROW (66" x 66"), MEDIUM THROW (66" x 84"), and LARGE THROW (84" x 84")
