Winter is a really great time for knitting as we know, but it also can be a wonderful time for sewing! Here are some things that are fueling my sew-jo in these wintery days.
Project 1:
Pimento Mammoth Flannel & Ilford Jacket
I have been loving this monochrome gingham flannel, and I think it would make a gorgeous Ilford Jacket. I'm not sure if I would choose the cropped length or longer, but I think it would be darling either way.
Project 2:
Lilac Heart Pointelle & Nikko Top
I've never made this Nikko pattern (it also comes in a long sleeve shirt option!) but I've seen such gorgeous makes and heard such great things about this pattern. We have such gorgeous pointelle knits that I'd love to pair it with, specifically this heart pointelle! Personally I haven't made a lot of wardrobe "basics" and I think some knit turtlenecks would be so great for layering in these colder days.
Project 3:
Gingham Limerick Linen & Fran Pajamas
I've been loving two- piece sets for a while now, and what is cozier than a linen pj set? It won't be as warm as flannel (another great option) but versatile for year round!
Project 4:
Kaffe Stripe Woven Cotton & Wilder Gown
This Wilder Gown pattern has been a well- loved pattern for years now. I have never made it, but after seeing my Harmony coworker Janell make one out of the Swedish Holiday Fableism collection I have been itching for a woven Wilder Gown, Wouldn't it be beautiful for Christmas out of this woven stripe?!
Project 5:
Fineline Twill & Free Range Slacks
The Free Range Slacks are another tried and true pattern, but what could be better in this cozy season?! These slacks are both comfortable and classy, and our Fineline Twill is sturdy but not too thick.
