Description: In this class you'll learn all the tips and tricks needed to knit a gorgeous stranded colorwork sweater. Christian will be teaching the Glenview Sweater pattern by Teti Lutsak. This pattern is designed to fit chest circumferences between 29-61".
Prior skills recommended: Basic knitting skills, including casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, and decreasing.
Materials needed:
-Glenview Sweater pattern
-Between 262-1312 yards of heavy worsted/aran weight yarn in two colors, depending on your size. We recommend Harrisville Highland, Istex Lettlopi, Studio Donegal Soft Donegal, Noro Haunui, Noro viola, Gepard Puno, Gepard Woolia, Cascade Eco, or Malabrigo Worsted.
-US 8 circular knitting needles in lengths for large and small circumference knitting.
-Spare cables or scrap yarn to hold stitches.
-Stitch markers, including at least one removable marker.
-A crochet hook and scrap yarn for provisional cast on.
-A tapestry needle to weave in ends.
When: This class takes place over three sessions, held on Saturday March 25 from 10:30am-1:30pm, Saturday April 8 from 10:30am-1:30pm, and Saturday April 22 from 10:30-1:30pm.
